About
Dragon School is a creative literacy and storytelling program, designed for children in Curriculum for Excellence Early Level. It combines literature, imaginative play, improvisation, performance and story-telling to support key experiences and outcomes in Literacy and English as well as Expressive Arts.
What to expect
Dragon Song School is a workshop that has been designed for children in preschool Nursery, Primary 1 and 2.The workshops are divided into three modules: Literature & Creative Play, Workshop & Improvised Storytelling and Reflection.
Each workshop is led by a member of the Dragon Song team, and lasts ninety minutes. Workshops take place in a classroom or hall setting, where children sit on mats on the floor, working with the Dragon Song team leader.
