With the help of eight majestic owls, a larger-than-life unicorn and two comical frogs, Bertie embarks on a whimsical quest to find the Moon and lift it back into the sky before it’s too late.

Perfect for babies and children under six years, this enchanting story features handcrafted puppets, interactive props bags and original songs, promising a gentle introduction to the magic of live theatre.

This immersive experience brings these tales to life through beautiful handcrafted puppets and original music. Bertie the dragon’s job is to raise the moon into the sky each night. One night he falls asleep. Can you help wake him up and get him back to work?

With puppets, song and movement, Our Friends the Dragons is a wonderful introduction to the world of theatre for babies and young toddlers!

Dragon Song Productions is a unique children’s theatre company, specialising in interactive productions. Founder Rachel Huggins also writes the Dragon picture book series Bertie the Moon Dragon and Kipper the Sea Dragon, which introduce kids to the concept of night and day, the oceans and the world of the coral reef.

Sea Dragon at Theatre Royal Glasgow

Dragon Song Productions is delighted to bring its unique and imaginative interactive children’s show to the Education Rooms at the Theatre Royal Glasgow. 

The story of Sea Dragon follows three Kelpies, as they arrive at the reef for a playdate, only to discover the coral’s vibrant  colours have mysteriously faded. 

The Kelpies help narrate the tale of what happened, and with the help of Kipper the Sea Dragon, set off on a mission to restore the reef.
Along the way, they meet a playful family of seahorses, a bright starfish, and a mischievous crash, all working together to bring the colours of the coral back to life.

This is a relaxed production, and is suitable for babies and Under 6’s.
